Oklahoma-born country singer-songwriter Carter Sampson plays two Scottish dates on her latest UK tour.
An independent spirit, Sampson began experimenting with sound as a hobby at the age of fifteen and has progressed into prize-winning songwriter and a performer who regularly averages two hundred and twenty gigs a year.
She’s the founder and director of Oklahoma City’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls, which partners with non-profit organisations to empower girls and women through music education and released her third studio recording, Wilder Side, in May last year.
Sampson appears at the Voodoo Rooms, Edinburgh on Monday, May 1 and the Admiral Bar, Glasgow on Wednesday, May 3.
