One of the gigs of the year confirmed for new Glasgow club

New Glasgow jazz club the Blue Arrow hosts one of the most exciting jazz gigs of 2018 when Irish drummer David Lyttle brings his trio featuring Philadelphia-born guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel and London-based American bassist Michael Janisch to the Sauchiehall Street venue on Wednesday 21st March.

Lyttle, who has been described as “one of the best, robust listening experiences you're likely to have all year" by Rolling Stone, was nominated for a MOBO Best live Act award in 2015 and has worked with leading jazz and hip hop players Joe Lovano, Talib Kweli, Seamus Blake and Soweto Kinch, among many others.

In Rosenwinkel, he has chosen the most revered guitarist of his generation whose music The Chicago Tribune has rated as “the future of jazz - just like bebop once was."

Tickets for the concert are available now from and doors open at 7:30pm.
